New Federal Lead Laws Effective Immediately

Are you aware of the new lead laws that recently went into effect? If not you (or your company) could now incur heavy federal fines as a result. As of April 22, 2010 new federal laws began requiring that contractors performing renovation, repair and painting (RRP) projects that “disturb more than six square feet of paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be certified and trained to follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.”
If you’re concerned about the new lead laws and your liability, All County’s certified and trained staff can help. Call us today and we can assist you in properly handling your lead abatement needs.
