Our Business Development Department is pleased to announce that Fevy Valencia has recently joined us as a Director of Sales/Marketing & Business Development working out of the Anaheim, California, office. Fevy brings over 7 years of experience in emergency service restoration and sales covering Southern California and the Inland Empire.
Fevy will take over responsibility for the our competitive Southern California Market , calling on the property management, plumbing and insurance markets.

All County On Scene For Devastating Fire

On Thursday April 28, 2011 in Bermuda Dunes, Palm Springs a severe house fire engulfed a home in flames, completely devastating the building. Both CalFire and Riverside County firefighters responded to the fire but in the end the home was completely ruined. A CalFire firefighter and homeowner both suffered minor burns.

All County was on location immediately, as seen in the News Channel 3 KESQ video footage you can view here, and later in the demolished the building to begin the reconstruction process.

Orange County Dry Cleaner Fire

A Dry Cleaning store located in Orange County caught on fire Sunday morning (8/1/10). All County’s team of professional technicians successfully cleaned the store so, that the business can re-open its doors for business the next day. All County was able to save the business owner thousands of dollars in lost revenues. The Insured was grateful for All County’s quick response and hard work.

Brush Fires Strike in the Mojave Desert

A not so welcomed sign of summer has came upon us in a familiar form, wildfires. Near the Mojave Desert, two wildfires barely under control are sending the people of the area into a state of emergency. Several homes have already become victims of this fierce fire. One of the fires located about 70 miles north of Los Angeles in the city of Tehachapi, known as the “West Fire”, has already burned over 1,200 acres. The demise of the fire seems to be distant since currently the fire is at 25% containment. North of that blaze the “Bull Fire” located at the south end of the Sequoia National Forest has already burned 15,000 acres and is at 12% containment. The firefighters and the families still have a hard trial ahead of them. Our best wishes go out to the families that are in a state of emergency near the Mojave Desert and to the firefighters who are protecting them.

Orange Membership Dinner Meeting

By now many of you are aware of the EPA’s new certification requirement that mandates lead-safety training for contractors. If you’re not aware of it, you should be because not complying could have large financial implications (not to mention put you and your clients’ health at risk).
Upon having the opportunity to speak with our industry and PHCC members. …A common complaint is that contractors who comply with the rule will lose jobs to those who don’t comply. The rationale here is that complying requires added time and materials which cost more, so potential clients will naturally go for the lesser expensive bid.
Upon personally reviewing all EPA requirements. They felt that contractors would do well to market themselves as people who not only do good work, but who do it safely. They offer materials on their site to help contractors communicate the risks associated with lead paint. And the EPA is developing resources to help contractors market themselves in a way that leverages their lead-safety training.
Additionally, this is a crucial game changer for all of us involved in any type of construction. Why, because EPA is conducting widespread public outreach initiatives to increase public awareness of the risks of lead-based paint and the importance of hiring certified renovators. Therefore we must comply and educate ourselves on best practices to insure safety for our clients and workforce alike and minimize any form of liability.
